Antoine Monot, Jr.

As the son of a Swiss composer and an actress, Antoine Monot, Jr. grew up near Fulda, Germany. Before he started acting at the Schauspielhaus Zürich, he studied stage direction at the Hochschule der Künste (Academy of Arts). In 1998 he became famous with his poignant role in the movie „Absolute Giganten“. Since then he has played in more than 80 cinema and TV productions. In 2009, together with producer Daniel Kraus, he founded the production company “Zuckerfilm”. Furthermore, Antoine Monot, Jr. is a board member of the German actors’ lobby Bundesverband der Film- und Fernsehschauspieler (BFFS), initiator of the German actors awards and founder of the Zurich Film Festival.
In October, Antoine Monot, Jr. will publish his first book “Vertrauen Sie mir, ich tu‘s ja auch”.
